Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the itaprac Minecraft server, the itaprac.xyz website, staff applications, the dashboard and the paid VIP and Host ranks. By playing or using our services you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. Who we are

itaprac is run by itaprac Studios. Contact: itapracstudios@gmail.com or a ticket on our Discord server.

itaprac is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft, which do not endorse or sponsor it. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. To play you must also follow the Minecraft EULA.

2. Age

• You must be at least 15 to apply to the staff.
• If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission to buy a rank or make a donation.

3. Rules

By playing on itaprac and taking part in our community you agree to:

• respect other players and the staff: no serious insults, discrimination, threats, harassment or sexual content;
• not use cheats, modified clients that give you an advantage, macros, exploits or bugs in your favour. If you find a bug, report it to the staff without abusing it;
• not share other people’s personal data (doxxing), spam, or advertise other servers;
• not attack or overload our services (DDoS, connection floods, bots, attempts at unauthorised access);
• not evade a ban with other accounts;
• follow the specific rules published on our Discord server and in game.

The staff can warn, mute, suspend or ban anyone who breaks the rules, in proportion to how serious it is, and can reset or correct statistics and ELO gained by cheating or unfairly. You can appeal a punishment with a ticket on Discord.

4. The service

itaprac is a volunteer-run project provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it online, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or shut down modes, servers and features. Some worlds are reset regularly (for example on every restart), so progress in those worlds is not permanent.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or for lost progress or in-game items. This does not limit liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights the law gives consumers.

5. Staff applications

Applying does not entitle you to join the staff. The staff decides at its discretion. Applications with false or copied information are rejected. Staff roles are voluntary and unpaid, and can be revoked at any time.

6. Reviews

If you ask us to publish a review of yours on the website, it must be your own and honest. We may choose which reviews to publish and remove them whenever we want; you can ask us to remove yours at any time.

7. VIP and Host ranks and donations

7.1 How it works

• We sell two ranks: VIP and Host. You request them with a ticket on our Discord server and pay with PayPal. The price and benefits of each rank are those given in the ticket before you pay.
• Each rank lasts 30 days from activation. It does not renew automatically: to keep it you have to renew it yourself.
• The rank is tied to your Minecraft account and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
• The benefits are digital and only valid on itaprac: they have no cash value and cannot be resold.
• We may change the benefits of ranks bought in the future. A rank that is already active stays as you paid for it until it expires.
• Host holders must use the features it gives them (for example hosting events) within the rules: if they abuse them, the staff can take them away as with any other rule break.

7.2 Withdrawal and refunds

A rank is digital content that we activate immediately at your request. By law, the 14-day right of withdrawal is lost once activation begins, but only if you first asked for it expressly and confirmed you know you lose the right of withdrawal (Art. 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code). That is why, before activating the rank, the staff asks you in the ticket to confirm:

“I ask for the rank to be activated immediately and acknowledge that, once it is activated, I lose my right of withdrawal.”

• Before activation you can cancel the purchase and we refund you in full.
• After activation there are no refunds, not even partial ones.
• If the rank is not activated or does not work because of us, we fix it, extend it or refund you. Your statutory warranty rights are not affected.

7.3 Ranks and punishments

The rank keeps running during a ban. If a ban for breaking the rules lasts longer than the rank time you have left, you lose the rank without a refund.

7.4 Disputes

If you have a problem with a payment, write to us before opening a PayPal dispute: we usually sort it out quickly. Disputes or chargebacks opened in bad faith after receiving the rank lead to the rank being removed and may lead to a ban.

7.5 Donations

Donations are voluntary, help cover the server’s costs and do not entitle you to any benefit, unless agreed otherwise in the ticket.

8. Accounts and security

You are responsible for your Minecraft and Discord accounts. Do not share them. The staff will never ask for your password or login codes.

9. Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in the privacy and cookie policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms: the date at the top shows the latest version. We announce important changes on our Discord server. If you keep using the services after a change, you accept the new terms. A rank you have already paid for stays governed by the terms in force when you bought it.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, disputes go to the court of the place where you live, and you keep the rights the law of your EU country of residence gives you. If any clause turns out to be invalid, the rest remain in force.
